SIGMA-Photowalk Polenztal

Short facts

The SIGMA photowalk takes us to the March snowflake meadows in the Polenztal valley in March.

Under professional guidance, the SIGMA Photowalk will give you a refresher on the basics of photography and, of course, numerous tips and tricks on design rules. The use of different focal lengths will also be discussed. All participants of the SIGMA Photowalk are picked up where they are photographically. The photowalk leader will accompany you on your photographic journey with his know-how and exciting tasks. There will also be enough time to ask individual questions!
During the photowalk, you will have the opportunity to try out various SIGMA lenses on site under supervision. The request is made in advance by e-mail. The SIGMA lens loan is included in the price. There is a limited selection of rental lenses available!

Start is at 07:00 am at the Bockmühlenstraße hiking parking lot (Bockmühlenstraße 90, 01848 Hohnstein OT Cunnersdorf).

On this morning walk we will go to the nature reserve of the Polenztal. Depending on the weather and the length of winter, it can be very muddy and frosty here. We recommend bringing wellies. It takes a certain amount of luck to catch the perfect moment when the spring snowflakes are in bloom. Nevertheless, the path along the valley gives us plenty of scope to be creative. Important to note: The meadows must not be entered! So if you have telephoto lenses with a low close-up setting limit with you, you will have an advantage in some places.

End: 10:00 am at the Bockmühle

Photowalk leader Philipp Zieger recommends focal lengths of 24 - 400mm / macro lens / polarizing filter / flash or reflector/diffuser if desired and a tripod that can be set close to the ground.
