SIGMA-Photowalk Bastei

Short facts

The SIGMA Photowalk leads to the Bastei at sunrise in June .

Under professional guidance, the SIGMA Photowalk will give you a refresher on the basics of photography and, of course, numerous tips and tricks on design rules. The use of different focal lengths will also be discussed. All participants of the SIGMA Photowalk are picked up where they are photographically. The photowalk leader will accompany you on your photographic journey with his expertise and exciting tasks. There will also be enough time to ask individual questions!
Before the photowalk, you have the opportunity to borrow various SIGMA lenses from Tourist Service Bad Schandau and then try them out on site under supervision. The SIGMA lens rental is included in the price. There is a limited selection of rental lenses available!

Start is at 03:50 at the parking lot at the Bastei.

At the beginning of summer, a few days before the shortest night of the year, we set off for a very special photo motif in Saxon Switzerland: the Bastei. We meet in good time to enjoy the full length of this summer day. From the Ferdinand viewpoint, we can look out over the Wehlgrund in glorious raking light. At the same time, the Bastei Bridge is bathed in golden light. We can also visit the New View of the Elbe Valley and the other vantage points along the bridge and beyond. As an increased number of photographers is to be expected, the number of participants is limited to 6 people.

End: approx. 09:00 at the parking lot at the Bastei.

Photowalk leader Philipp Zieger recommends focal lengths of 16 - 400mm, a sturdy tripod (high & stable), polarizing filter, camera with manual settings and a headlamp.
