SIGMA-Photowalk Domerker

Short facts

The SIGMA Photowalk leads to the cathedral at sunset in August .

The Domerker is a fascinating rocky vista in the middle of the Affensteine. After a
challenging climb over the sand hole, we finally reach the view. Between jagged rocks, you can see into the Domkessel and along the Lorenzwände to the Schrammsteine and the striking Falkenstein. The sun will set directly on the Falkenstein that evening and hopefully give us beautiful colors in the sky. The striking rocks in the foreground invite you to capture impressive angles with the wide-angle lens. But you can also use the telephoto lens to photograph beautiful details in the rocky landscape.
Under professional guidance, you will receive a refresher on the basics of photography and, of course, numerous tips and tricks on composition rules at the SIGMA Photowalk. The use of different focal lengths will also be discussed. All participants of the SIGMA Photowalk are picked up where they are photographically. The photowalk leader will accompany you on your photographic journey with his expertise and exciting tasks. There will also be enough time to ask individual questions!
Before the photowalk, you have the opportunity to borrow various SIGMA lenses from the Bad Schandau Tourist Service and then try them out on site under supervision. The SIGMA lens rental is included in the price. There is a limited selection of rental lenses available!

Meet at 17:00 at the Touristservice in Bad Schandau. End is at 22:30.

Photowalk leader Philipp Zieger recommends focal lengths from 16 - 400mm, tripod (stable & adjustable close to the ground), polarizing filter, camera with manual settings, headlamp and warm clothing.
