Under professional guidance, the SIGMA Photowalk will give you a refresher on the basics of photography and, of course, numerous tips and tricks on design rules. The use of different focal lengths will also be discussed. All participants of the SIGMA Photowalk are picked up where they are photographically. The photowalk leader will accompany you on your photographic journey with his know-how and exciting tasks. There will also be enough time to ask individual questions!
Before the photowalk, you have the opportunity
to borrow various SIGMA lenses from Tourist Service Bad Schandau and then try them out on site under supervision. The SIGMA lens rental is included in the price. There is a limited selection of rental lenses available!
Start is at 05:45 am at the hiking parking lot at Pfaffenstein.
The Pfaffenstein is one of the most charming table mountains on the left bank of the Elbe. Numerous crevices, steeply rising rock faces, as if they had been cut in two, diverse views of the plains between Königstein, Lilienstein and Gohrisch, and especially of the famous Barbarine. This graceful rock needle is a rewarding, but also very challenging photo motif. But regardless of whether you choose the classic route or boldly climb the second viewpoint, we will take home beautiful memories and pictures of this morning. Depending on the light and time available, we will visit the view on the north side of the Pfaffenstein on the way back and then make our way down through the eye of the needle.
End: approx. 10:00 am at the hiking parking lot on the Pfaffenstein.
Photowalk leader Philipp Zieger recommends focal lengths of 24 - 200mm, a tripod (high & stable), polarizing filter and a camera with manual setting options.
