SIGMA-Photowalk Kleiner Winterberg

Short facts

The SIGMA Photowalk leads to the Kleiner Winterberg at sunrise in September.

Under professional guidance, the SIGMA Photowalk will give you a refresher on the basics of photography and, of course, numerous tips and tricks on design rules. The use of different focal lengths will also be discussed. All participants of the SIGMA Photowalk are picked up where they are photographically. The photowalk leader will accompany you on your photographic journey with his expertise and exciting tasks. There will also be enough time to ask individual questions!
Before the photowalk, you have the opportunity to borrow various SIGMA lenses from Tourist Service Bad Schandau and then try them out on site under supervision. The SIGMA lens rental is included in the price. There is a limited selection of rental lenses available!

Start is at 04:50 at the Felsenmühle.

The views on the Kleiner Winterberg are the epitome of romance, the picturesque pine trees and rock formations arranged as if by an artist's hand. The countless steps that lead us up on this autumn morning are the necessary effort to listen to the distant rutting calls of the deer in the valley and witness the awakening day. With a bit of luck, fog will appear in the valley. But on all my visits to this fantastic place, there was never a wasted day. Whether details on the reefs, wide panoramas or intimate scenes along the way, there are countless opportunities to try your hand at photography.

End: approx. 09:15 am at the Felsenmühle

Photowalk leader Philipp Zieger recommends focal lengths of 14 - 300mm, tripod (stable & adjustable close to the ground), ND filter, camera with manual setting options, headlamp and warm clothing
