SIGMA-Photowalk Hohnstein

Short facts

The SIGMA Photowalk leads to the castle town of Hohnstein in December.

Under professional guidance, the SIGMA Photowalk will give you a refresher on the basics of photography and, of course, numerous tips and tricks on design rules. The use of different focal lengths will also be discussed. All participants of the SIGMA Photowalk are picked up where they are photographically. The photowalk leader will accompany you on your photographic journey with his expertise and exciting tasks. There will also be plenty of time to ask individual questions!

Before the Photowalk, you can borrow various SIGMA lenses from Tourist Service Bad Schandau and then try them out on site under supervision. The SIGMA lens rental is included in the price. There is a limited selection of rental lenses available!

Meet at 14:15 at the Touristservice in Bad Schandau.

The last Photowalk of 2025 will take you to Hohnstein. The small town on the
edge of the Polenztal valley is known for many things. The Punch and Judy figures, the climbing legend Bernd Arnold and, of course, the castle. The pretty town hall and the small alleyways at its feet
rise above the small town and the adjacent Polenztal valley. With the beginning of the blue
hour, the lights in the windows and streets and the illuminated castle, a very
fairytale sight is created.

End is approx. 17:30 at the tourist service in Bad Schandau.

Equipment: Tripod (high & stable), polarizing filter, camera with manual setting options
Recommended focal lengths: 24 - 200mm
