Due to the forest fires in July 2022, the Edmundsklamm is currently closed! Wilde Klamm is accessible again and can be explored by boat.
The impressive narrow gorge of the Kamnitz river is only partially passable by boat. The flora and fauna are similar to those in the (currently closed) Edmundsklamm gorge located in front of it. The Wilde Klamm was opened up for boat trips and hiking tourism in 1898 – thanks to Prince Edmund of Clary-Aldringen and the Mountain Association for Bohemian Switzerland, founded in 1878 in Tetschen (Děčín).
The journey through the approximately 450-metre-long Wild Gorge takes about 15 minutes.
Please note: pushchairs are transported free of charge, but bicycles are not.
