The observation tower offers a magnificent panoramic view of Bohemian and Saxon Switzerland.
At the foot of the lookout tower there is a vending machine for commemorative coins with a picture of the tower - one such coin costs CZK 50 and only 10, 20 and 50 crown pieces can be inserted.
The observation tower in Janov is located on the yellow-marked hiking trail that leads from Hřensko to the "Rosehill" Indian village in Hájenky and to the Wild Gorge, where boat trips are offered on the Kamenice River.
The observation tower in Janov near Hřensko is also worth a visit in winter, provided the temperatures do not drop below minus 10°C. You can park near the Janov golf course, from where the tower is already in sight. The observation tower is operated by the Nord Bohemia Golf company.
