Easter hike between stream and rock

Short facts

  • 13:00 - 18:30
  • Guided tour/sightseeing, Hike

Experience the Saxon sandstone with Stefan Steinke, whether embedded in tranquil forests, as a historic millstone or on the wild and romantic banks of a stream.

The "Forellensteig" is a narrow footpath along the Gottleuba. Bubbling and splashing, the typical face of a mountain stream can be seen here, swirling its way past impressive sandstone boulders. It is only a few steps to the rocky area of the Bahratal Walls, where large sandstone rocks are scattered throughout the forest, a popular destination for climbers. Your path leads past a former wooden loop, on to the Eibischsteinen and Eulensteinen, two other striking sandstone rock formations, and then comfortably along the Eisenstraße back to the starting point.

Distance: approx. 16 km, duration approx. 6 hours
