Hiking without luggage on the Malerweg

Hike - without luggage - in the footsteps of Caspar David Friedrich, Ludwig Richter, Adrian Zingg and other famous artists of the 18th century.
A dense network of well-signposted hiking trails of varying lengths and levels of difficulty invites you to explore the region. Along the way, the variety of beautiful views and breathtaking vistas never ceases to amaze.

You only carry what you need for each stage on your back. Hiking can be so relaxing because your luggage is transported from accommodation to accommodation.

Cycling without luggage on the Elbe cycle path

The Elbe Cycle Path has been one of the most popular long-distance cycle routes in Germany for years. It is over 1000 kilometres long and runs from the Czech Giant Mountains to Cuxhaven. It always follows the course of the Elbe - with only a few gradients.

It can get pretty hectic at the end of the year... So why not take it down a gear, consciously treat yourself to a little time out and enjoy the winter idyll in Saxon Switzerland. The latter is also a worthwhile travel destination in winter! When it's freezing cold outside, the paths are deserted and then you can enjoy imposing views of an enchanting winter landscape.
