Winter view near Saupsdorf
The 496 metre-high Wachberg is located in the rear part of Saxon Switzerland, near Suapsdorf and is highly recommended, especially in winter. In fine, cool winter weather and with a clear view, the view extends as far as the Zittau Mountains and the Tannenberg in Bohemia, which, with a bit of luck, are covered in a thin layer of snow. There is a family-friendly mountain hut on the Wachberg.
