A resting place with a historic past
In 1710, this resting place was set up for the "distinguished persons" of an electoral hunt. Numerous letters are engraved on the edge of the table. They are supposedly the initials of the hunting guests present. (according to W.L. Götzinger, Reisehandbuch, 1804). Folklore has it that Augustus the Strong held a hunting breakfast here.
