Fairytale views and moments of enjoyment in the Bergbaude

The Papststein is a striking rock in the heart of Saxon Switzerland, which is highly recommended, especially in winter. With a height of 459 metres, it rises majestically above the surrounding forests and valleys and offers visitors an impressive view of the surrounding landscape between the Gohrischstein and the Kleinhennersdorfer Stein. With a bit of luck, the surrounding rocks are covered by a thin layer of snow.

Be careful, the cool air usually also brings snow and slippery conditions. In these weather conditions, it is advisable to rent ice dudes - for example at the Bad Schandau tourist service.

The Bergbaude offers delicious regional cuisine throughout the year.
