Panoramic Heights with Bismarck Tower

Short facts

25-meter-high observation tower on the Panoramahöhe - with sweeping views over the Elbe Valley, Saxon Switzerland and the Ore Mountains.

A viewing tower made of granite and sandstone stands on the 437-metre-high panoramic hill.
It was built around 1900 according to plans by the architect Schramm. Many steps lead up to the viewing platform. On a clear day, you can see far into the surrounding area - from the Elbe valley to the foothills of the Ore Mountains.

The tower was renovated in the 1990s. Today it is open to the public again.
