Winter Viewpoint in the Kirnitzsch Valley

The Großstein is a viewpoint in Saxon Switzerland, located above the Kirnitzsch valley. At 360 metres above sea level, it is also known as the "Pulpit of the Rear Saxon Switzerland".
It rises in the steep northern wall of the Kirnitzschtal, high above the Felsenmühle. Especially in winter, you can enjoy a wonderful view from here. Caution, cold temperatures usually bring snow and slippery conditions, in these weather conditions it is advisable to hire ice dodgers - for example from the Bad Schandau tourist service
