Arrival by car:
At the Dresden-West interchange, take the A17 in the direction of Pirna. Leave the highway at the Pirna exit. Now follow the signs for "Bastei". After passing through Lohmen, after approx. 2 km (petrol station) you will reach the turn-off to the right to the Bastei. Enter the special destination Bastei or 01847 Lohmen or the GPS coordinates as the address in your navigation device: Latitude 50.9665139 and longitude 14.0657333.
From the Pirna highway exit, the hotel route A is signposted. If you follow this route, you will also come directly to the hotel along the route described above. For arrivals and departures, access for hotel overnight guests is free up to the front of the hotel. The hotel's own parking lot (150 meters away) is reserved exclusively for overnight guests. You will receive your parking card at reception when you check in. The parking fee is € 7.00/night. A charging station for electric cars is available for a fee in the public parking lot of the municipality of Lohmen (approx. 400 meters away).
Arrival by train:
1. Dresden main station - S-Bahn to Pirna (every half hour)
or
2. directly to Bad Schandau station (IC connection)
From the train stations Pirna or Bad Schandau you can either take a cab or alternatively from Pirna take the bus (Pirna: line 237) to the Berghotel Bastei. The journey takes about 20 minutes.
