The National Park Center Bad Schandau is showing the special exhibition "Wild Beauty - Paintings from Saxon Switzerland" from 8 May to 19 September 2025. The exhibition presents works by artists Yvonne Brückner and Maxi Schröder, who depict the landscape of the Elbe Sandstone Mountains in oil, watercolor, acrylic and mixed media.
The works on display capture the mar- kant formations of the region, including mist-shrouded table mountains, wooded scenery and native animals. The depictions also show the harmonious connection between nature and the cultivated landscape. The paintings are looking forward to a new home and can be purchased on site.
The exhibition will open with a vernissage on May 8, 2025 at 17:00. Visitors will have the opportunity to meet the artists in person. Registration is requested, but not required.
