On the Easter days, every mine visitor receives a small surprise during the tour.
Until 1892, iron ore was mined here on the edge of the Elbe Sandstone Mountains. In 2006, the "Marie Louise Stolln" was reopened as a visitor mine. You can discover the impressive underground lake on a guided tour of the tunnel on foot. Easter surprises await all visitors to the mine, young and old alike.
The climate underground is constant with high humidity and temperatures of around 8-10°C. Closed shoes and a warm jacket are strongly recommended, and you will receive the mandatory safety helmet on site.
Please use the online booking option or make a reservation by telephone, as the number of participants on the guided tours is limited.
