The 21st Hohnstein Christmas Market opens its doors at 11 a.m. on the first Sunday in Advent.
Numerous stalls along Rathausstraße, Rathausplatz, Marktplatz and at Hohnstein Castle invite you to take a Christmas stroll. The local clubs and restaurateurs provide food and drink. There is local culture on the three stages. It is probably the most romantic Christmas market in Saxon Switzerland: picturesque alleyways, great lighting and a venerable castle towering over the small town. You'll be missing out on the first Sunday in Advent if you don't make your way to Hohnstein. The market is open until 6 pm on the first Sunday in Advent.
