Kleinkunstbühne Q24 e. V.

Short facts

Pirna

The association Kleinkunstbühne Pirna Q24 e.V. was founded in August 2002 after the flood disaster. It runs the cabaret theatre, which is located in the historic old town of Pirna, not far from St Mary's Church, in the middle of the "Kneipenkarree".

The stage was founded in 1999 on Thomas Kleinrensing's own initiative and as a private enterprise. The flood of 2002 severely damaged the entire Pirna old town centre and also the cabaret stage. However, the "Kleine Kunst in Pirna" theatre, which had begun so successfully, was not to perish. So culturally interested, committed Pirna residents came together to restore the stage and run it as an association.

The association organises a varied programme of cabaret, readings, concerts of all kinds, travelogues and children's events.
