Crossing gorges, exploring caves, climbing table mountains or discovering enchanted paths and places off the beaten track: the discovery tours organised by the National Park Authority take you deeper into the secrets of the Elbe Sandstone Mountains. Every day (except Wednesdays and Sundays), certified national park guides invite you to accompany them on their tours and let them show you the secrets of our national park.

The discovery tours are organised between April and October. Binding registration for participation is required by the day before. Sturdy footwear and weatherproof clothing are recommended. All starting points (except Pfaffendorf) are easily accessible by public transport. The hikes take place in all weathers, except in the case of official storm warnings and dangerous weather conditions. They always end at the starting point.

In Saxon Switzerland, certified national park guides lead your steps and eyes to the wonders of the rocky world, big and small. The focus is always on experiencing and feeling. Knowledge is imparted almost incidentally. Families, groups, school classes and companies can book individual tours and adventure programmes with the certified national park guides.
