Holger Fritzsche traveled to Sardinia for the first time in 2011. His longing for the Italian sun made him set off south with his girlfriend. Since then, he has been to this wonderful island at least twice a year. He "conquered" it in his own, unmistakable way. By car, on foot, by kayak, with fins and with a paraglider. A few hours by car to Livorno, a starry night on the deck of the "Moby Wonder" and a completely different world lies before those who visit the island. A relaxed world that offers everything in the smallest of spaces: friendly people, Breton rocky landscapes, Scandinavian fjords, cork oaks, pine trees, quiet bays, beautiful dune landscapes, crystal-clear water on countless, almost incomprehensibly beautiful beaches, climbing rocks or lonely mountain worlds for long

Fritzsche visited Sardinian festivals, spent the night with the wild horses on the Giara plateau, went out to sea with fishermen at dawn and talked to artists, farmers and exceptional winegrowers to find out more about this country, its inhabitants and its history.
