• We recommend sturdy ankle-high hiking boots and a small backpack for food and rain gear.
• A good level of fitness, sure-footedness and a head for heights are required for this hiking tour.

• Day 1: Travelling to Hinterhermsdorf
• Those travelling by train will be picked up from Bad Schandau.
• Day 2: Hike to the ‘Thorwalder Wände’ (approx. 19 km)
• Day 3: Hike through the Wißbach valley to the ‘Obere Schleuse’ (approx. 15 km)
• Day 4: Hike through Bohemian Switzerland through the Khaa Valley to the ‘Zeidlerburg’ and ‘Preußenlager’ (approx. 18 km)
• Day 5: Hike along the ‘Goldsteig’ to the ‘Großer Winterberg’ (approx. 16 km)
• Day 6: Hike through the Affensteine (approx. 15 km)
• Day 7: Hike to the Kleinstein Cave (approx. 15 km)
• Day 8: Individual departure

The tour leads through the wildly rugged rocky world of the Elbe Sandstone Mountains, along the most famous sights, the hiker experiences the most beautiful images of a landscape that is unique in Central Europe. After all, the rear part of Saxon Switzerland in particular offers countless opportunities to go hiking without having to walk the same paths after a few days. You can experience the ‘most natural’ and ‘least visited’ part of the national park on solitary hikes, away from the main tourist routes. Especially on the Bohemian side of the Elbe Sandstone Mountains, you can expect secluded trails in unspoilt nature.

In 8 days, you will get to know Saxon Bohemian Switzerland on paths that are otherwise reserved for local ‘connoisseurs’ of the region. Unforgettable experiences are guaranteed.
