• For organisational reasons, this hike can only be booked up to 7 days before the date of arrival.
• We recommend sturdy ankle-high hiking boots for the tours as well as a small rucksack for food and rain protection.
• A good basic level of fitness, surefootedness and a head for heights are required for this hiking tour.
• The complete overview of the booked accommodation is noted on the travel confirmation/invoice and will only be sent to the guest by post by the tour operator after booking the trip.
• Communication during the trip is possible in the following languages: German and English.
• The tour is not suitable for guests with reduced mobility.
• For German nationals, the current identity documents apply. All other persons please note the respective passport and visa deadlines. Your embassy will be happy to provide you with information on this.

• Day 1: Individual arrival in Bad Schandau, district of Krippen
• You travel individually to Bad Schandau, district of Krippen, and find yourself right in Saxon Switzerland. We recommend an evening stroll through the spa town of Bad Schandau.
• Day 2: Neumannmühle – Großer Winterberg – Schmilka/Krippen (approx. 13.5 km, approx. 5.5 hours)
• In the morning, take the Elbe ferry and take the bus to the starting point of today's stage – the technical monument Neumannmühle. You will pass through the Hintere Sächsische Schweiz to the Zeughaus. Shortly afterwards, the breathtaking Goldsteinaussicht awaits you. In Schmilka, take the Elbe ferry and then the S-Bahn to your overnight accommodation in Krippen. Alternatively, you can walk a further 8 km on the Malerweg.
• Day 3: Schmilka/Krippen – Gohrisch spa resort (approx. 18 km, approx. 6.5 hours)
• Take the S-Bahn back to Schmilka. Today, enjoy the view of the right side of the Elbe with the Schrammstein massif. In the last quarter, you will still climb the Papststein and the Gohrisch before reaching the spa town of Gohrisch.
• 4th Day: Kurort Gohrisch – Königstein/Weißig (approx. 9 km, approx. 4 hours)
• This short stage takes you over the Pfaffenstein, past the Diebskeller to your hotel at the foot of the Königstein fortress.
• Overnight stay in Königstein or Rathen.
• 5th day: Königstein/Weißig – Pirna/Dresden (approx. 21.5 km, approx. 7.5 hours)
• Your last hiking stage takes you through Thürmsdorf and over Weißig up to the Rauenstein massif. You continue along the ridge towards Pötzscha. Passing through Naundorf and Obervogelgesang, you will reach the end of your hike in Pirna. Depending on availability, you will sleep in Pirna or Dresden.
• 6th day: Individual return journey
