The hike begins at the mini-settlement Reuterhof, south of Reinhardtsdorf. The car park in Reuterhof is the starting point. A total of 14 play stations and 15 information boards have been newly created by Sachsenforst. One station, for example, is called "Water reservoir". Here you can test which soil can absorb water best. There is also a half-timbered house, the time travel compass, the strength game, a forest rest island, a sound game, floor windows, a suspension bridge, a spider's web, the soil filter, a barefoot path, the stations "Trees of the Forest" and "Animals of the Forest" as well as the balancing path. A funny element is the animal long jump. Who can hop as far as a flea? In general, it doesn't matter in which direction you walk the nature trail. The loop is about 2.5 km long and signposted.
