The tour starts at the market square in Dittersbach-Dürrröhrsdorf and follows the yellow dot into the Lieblingstal. Shortly before the edge of the forest you pass the restored Hubertus chapel, over bridges and paths you walk along the Schullwitzbach stream past various sculptures to the Teufelsbrücke bridge, then left up to Dittersbacher Straße. Cross this road and continue uphill to the Drei-Kastanien-Teich (Three Chestnut Pond), a wonderful picnic area with a view for the parents and a swing for the children.
From there, the signpost points to the Schönen Höhe with its tower and viewing platform. The key to the tower is available at the Gasthaus on Sundays, the Quandt Verein often offers guided tours of the Belvedere. Those who are hungry for adventure can take a detour of about 500 meters to the dwarf cave beforehand. For the way back, follow the signs to the Teufelskanzel (Devil's Pulpit) on the Wesenitz. Here, benches along the river invite you to take a break. Follow the course of the river back to Dittersbach.
