About 5 kilometres from Königstein Fortress, in a small wood, lies a real rock labyrinth.

The craggy stone world is so twisted and mysterious that the locals named the rock group Labyrinth. For children, climbing through the labyrinth is great fun, for adults it might be a bit cramped in some places. The tour is easy to find. A forest path ("Grüner Punkt") leads from the car park about 500 metres to the entrance of the rock labyrinth. Numbers in ascending order mark the way over ladders and through some narrow rock crevices, caves and passages. No one has to be afraid of getting lost, but it remains exciting until the end. It is also possible to climb up to the small plateau. One of the largest natural adventure playgrounds in Saxon Switzerland opens up for the children here.
