Beautiful vantage point with view to Schmilka

This viewpoint on Caspar-David-Friedrich-Weg is often referred to as "Hundskirche", although its official name is "Hunskirche". Here, two small niches offer a view of the Elbe valley and Schmilka. The path between the Hunskirche and Krippen is called Russenleite. It belonged to the Russian General Roniker, who lived in Krippen around 1870.
