Bad Schandau
The teachings of Sebastian Kneipp had a great influence on Bad Schandau. In 1798, the first bathhouse with 8 bathrooms and 9 tubs was built in this recreational spa after the iron spring named "rotes Flößgen" (red raft) became famous across the country. Today, St. John's Church houses an altar from 1572 and a sandstone pulpit hewn from a single block.
