Our team has been offering climbing courses on Saxon rock for individuals and groups as well as team events at since 1998.
Our climbing school staff are experienced DAV climbing instructors or members of the Saxon mountain rescue team.
With our climbing school you can acquire and deepen your rock climbing skills and make your first summit dreams come true with confidence!
Course offer:Taster day rock climbing | Basic course rock climbing (2-day) | Advanced course rock climbing (2-day) | Guided climbing tours | Guided via ferrata tours
Prerequisites:
Guided hikes/climbing tours:
Start: approx. 9.00 / 10.00 a.m. (to be arranged)
End: approx. 3.00 / 4.00 p.m. (i.e. when we have "arrived")
Meeting point: in Ottendorf resp. by arrangement
Tour description:
The destination and route of the hike will be planned by arrangement; we will head for striking vantage points and interesting paths; learn interesting facts about the history and geology of Saxon Switzerland and its legends; a via ferrata tour with safety equipment
Guest card Saxon Switzerland:
In the Ottendorfer Hütte climbing school you will receive a discount of 10% on your admission price on presentation of your guest card (with min. 4 full-paying guests).

- Climbing equipment is provided in full (except for guided climbing tours, rental possible)
- No age restriction
- Good for families and groups (e. g. school classes, club outings).

Prerequisites:
- healthy
- comfortable hard-wearing clothing (preferably trousers reaching above the knees, sports or hiking shoes for the approach)
- backpack with food for the day and enough to drink
