Info Point Block Barn

Short facts

Saxon Switzerland National Park Information Centre

The building impresses with its attractive wooden construction, which it owes, among other things, to ancient fir wood from the 16th century. Interested visitors can also learn more about this inside the barn, as well as about historical forestry work and the equipment used.
Another exhibition area is dedicated to the wolf in Saxony, a highly topical subject. The log barn also offers space for public lectures and environmental education events.

You are welcome to combine your visit with a stopover at the Beizehaus information centre and the publicly accessible Waldhusche outdoor forest area all around. The latter in particular is recommended for families with children.
