The Bad Schandau National Park railway station can be reached directly by the S-Bahn and regional trains of the Upper Elbe Transport Association (VVO) from Dresden and the towns of the Upper Elbe Valley as well as the Eurocity connections of Deutsche Bahn on the Berlin - Prague and Hamburg - Budapest routes.
