Viewpoint near Altendorf

The Adamsberg, which has a height of around 410 metres, is mainly composed of rock of volcanic origin. From the summit, there is a wide panoramic view that extends from the Affensteine to the east to Königstein Fortress, over the spa town of Ostrau and Bad Schandau.

The local village community has developed the Adamsberg culturally and, for example, organises the annual kite festival every autumn, which is held on the summit and the eastern slopes of the mountain.
