3d-lecture "Iceland and Greenland - Natural Wonders of the Earth" with Stephan Schluz

Island and Greenland are dream destinations for nature lovers. 3D photographer Stephan Schulz has visited both islands in all seasons.

He experienced a spectacular volcanic eruption and describes in humorous stories how he battled his way through the highlands by bike on sometimes terrible corrugated iron roads, where fording ice-cold glacial rivers was the most enjoyable part. In winter, he had to fear being blown off the road by a gale-force gust of wind on the totally icy Ring Road...

The intense colors also allowed Stephan Schulz to document these islands from the air again and again.

In addition, he experienced the clearest water in the world with a visibility of 120m and traveled by dog sled with ice diving equipment across the frozen Sermilikfjord to dive icebergs frozen in the ice in -3 degree cold water under the ice cover.

In addition to all these natural treasures, Stephan Schulz also sheds light on critical topics such as whaling and mass tourism.

He also met some unusual people on his trip: There is the enthusiastic soccer presenter Gummi Ben or the ice shark processing Hildibrandur, for whom the somewhat unusual taste of this fish is a delicacy. In Greenland, he met the Inuit, for whom climate change and the arrival of the Western way of life meant a drastic culture shock and loss of identity.

Immerse yourself in an overwhelming rush of 3D images - a vivid visual experience that is unique in the field of live reportage in the German-speaking world!
