• Day 1:Individual journey to Pirna / Dresden
• You travel individually to Dresden, the Florence on the Elbe, or the town of Pirna, the gateway to Saxon Switzerland. We recommend a tour through the medieval alleyways.
• Day 2: Pirna-Liebethal | Wehlen / Rathen spa town (approx. 12 / 17 km)
• In the morning, take the S-Bahn and bus to the starting point in Pirna-Liebethal. You will hike through three wild and romantic grounds. Now it is not far to the famous Bastei Bridge. Your stage destination is Wehlen or the spa town of Rathen (depending on availability).
• Day 3: Rathen spa town | Hohnstein (approx. 8 km)
• You descend into the Amselgrund and head for the second highlight of the day - the Hockstein. Through the Wolfsschlucht gorge you reach the Polenztal valley, below the village of Hohnstein with its castle.
• Day 4: Hohnstein | Altendorf/Kirnitzschtal (approx. 15 km)
• Through the Schindergraben you pass the Gautschgrotte grotto. The Brandaussicht is today's highlight. The route continues over 800 steps down into the Tiefen Grund. Via Waitzdorf you reach Altendorf and the Kirnitzschtal valley.
• Day 5: Altendorf/Kirnitzschtal | Schrammsteine | Neumannmühle (approx. 17 km)
• Take the direct route uphill to the Schrammstein viewpoint and along the ridgeway through the Schrammstein massif. Passing the large and small cathedral, you reach the Affensteinweg. This leads to the Lichtenhain waterfall. Via the Kuhstall you reach today's stage destination, the Neumannmühle technical monument. Take the bus back to the Kirnitzschtal valley or Bad Schandau.
• Day 6: Neumannmühle | Großer Winterberg | Schmilka/Krippen area (approx. 14 - 22 km)
• In the morning, take the bus to the start of today's stage. You will hike through the Hintere Sächsische Schweiz to the armoury. Shortly afterwards, the breathtaking Goldstein view awaits you. In Schmilka, take the Elbe ferry and travel by S-Bahn to your accommodation in Krippen or continue along the Malerweg via Schöna and Reinhardtsdorf to Krippen.
• Day 7: Schmilka/Krippen area | Gohrisch/Königstein spa town (approx. 15 / 18 km)
• Take the S-Bahn to Schmilka at the end of yesterday's hike or continue directly from Krippen on the Malerweg. Climbing the Papststein and Gohrisch table mountains is on the programme today.
• Day 8: Hike to the spa town of Gohrisch / Königstein (approx. 9 km)
• The short hiking tour along the Malerweg takes you over the Pfaffenstein, past the Diebskeller cave to your hotel in Königstein. This leaves you enough time to visit the fortress.
• Day 9: Königstein | Pirna / Dresden (approx. 21.5 km)
• Your last hiking stage takes you with breathtaking views across the fields along the Obere Kirchleite to Weißig and up to the Rauenstein massif. You continue over the rocky ridge towards Pirna, where you take the S-Bahn to Dresden.
• If the route is too long for you, take the S-Bahn from Stadt Wehlen.
• Day 10: Individual return journey
